PML-Q to support PTI in Sialkot by-election

Leaders vow to play effective role for success of ruling party’s candidate

LAHORE:

Pakistan Muslim League President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and the party’s Punjab President Chaudhry Parvez Elahi have announced their support for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the by-election of National Assembly constituency NA-75 in Sialkot.

“We as an ally will play an effective and full role in the success of the PTI candidate,” Elahi said on Sunday.

Instructions have been issued in this regard to the party organisation and leaders to give full support to the PTI candidate.

The party said its central leader MNA Moonis Elahi has formulated an effective and efficient strategy in consultation with local leaders.

Moonis Elahi said, “The organisations and local leaders of our party will run a full-fledged election campaign for the success of the PTI candidate.”
