HYDERABAD:

The objectives of development and employment cannot be accomplished in the country without resolving the issues of industrialists, said Sindh Secretary for Commerce and Industries Muhammad Riazuddin Qureshi.

Addressing office bearers and members of the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry (HCSTSI) on Saturday, he maintained that all-out efforts would be made to boost the industrial sector of the province.

On the occasion, he emphasised the need for launching industrial projects under public-private partnership mode in order to boost the industrial sector.

He was of the view that such projects would be helpful in establishing more industrial units and opening doors to employment in the province.

The provincial secretary said that businessmen associated with real estate were also dealing industrial plots in the province.

“The provincial government is making efforts to ensure provision of plots to industrialists and an effective strategy is being prepared in this regard,” he informed the businessmen.

Speaking on the occasion, HCSTSI President Saleemuddin Qureshi highlighted the issues being faced by the industrialists, which included failure to receive possessions in SITE Extension, encroachments, improper sewerage system, damaged roads and drain lines.
