Singer and songwriter Adele and her estranged husband Simon Konecki have reached an agreement on their divorce. The couple had officially parted ways and announced their split back in 2019. They are parents to eight-year-old son, Angelo.
Multiple reports state that Adele and Konecki filed a judgment with the court in Los Angeles on Friday, two years after their initial split since April 2019.
"Adele and her partner have separated," her representatives said in a proclamation to Associated Press. "They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”
"Hollywood divorces can drag on for years and become extremely ugly. Adele and Simon clearly don't want that," US Weekly quoted a source as saying at the time of their break up.
By reaching a contract on the disbursement, Adele and Konecki have decided on how they will slice up her $190 million fortune, the Daily Mail stated.
The couple went public in 2012 and welcomed their son Angelo a few months later. The singer rose to fame with her hits Rolling in the Deep, Set Fire to the Rain and Someone Like You. The two tied the knot in 2018 and in 2019, the songstress gifted her husband a house in LA. Soon after, the couple broke up within two months of moving to LA.
