SUKKUR: A woman was axed to death by her husband on the pretext of karo-kari in Garko village near Pannu Aqil early on Tuesday morning. Ali Mohammad Mahesar suspected that his wife, Soni, was having an affair with someone in the village. While she was preparing sehri, the accused attacked her with a hatchet, killing her on the spot, and fled the scene. The police sent the body to Pannu Aqil Taluka Hospital, but no case has been registered yet.
