Cole Sprouse denies 'Suite Life' reboot rumours

Disney star not interested return to show

Fans of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody have been left disappointed after Hollywood actor Cole Sprouse rejected any hopes of a reboot of the highly popular tween sitcom. However, fans of the two Disney stars can always find them all over the Internet, Cole as Jughead in Netflix original series Riverdale and Dylan with his supermodel girlfriend, Barbara Palvin.

Cole appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show on Tuesday and shared his thoughts on reboots in light of the Sex and the City revival.

"Reboots are a tricky thing, you know?" he started. "The original shows, when they become successful, sit in this little golden plate of nostalgia and when you modernise it and go back to it, it has the potential to really disenfranchise the original fan base. So it's a very, very touchy thing."

"I'm asked all the time if Dylan (his twin brother and co-star on 'The Suite Life') and I are going to do a 'Suite Life' reboot, and I go, 'No, absolutely not,'" Sprouse concluded. Originally The Suite Life of Zack & Cody ended with 3 seasons in 2008. Till this day, fans of the twins share clips and memories of the brothers on screen alongside Ashley Tisdale, Brenda Song, Phill Lewis and the Insatiable star, Debby Ryan.
