In pictures: Faysal Quraishi marks son’s first birthday

Faysal Quraishi is one of the leading actors of Pakistan. Not only is he known for iconic dramas but also his witty sense of humour. Just recently, Quraishi’s youngest child, son Farmaan, turned one on Monday and celebrated it with a themed birthday party.

Quraishi, in his Instagram post, penned a birthday wish saying, “Happy 1st birthday, Farmaan. You are going to be a big boy soon and we look forward to being able to see you grow up!” The birthday wish soon got ‘liked’ by celebrities like The Kapil Sharma Show star Gaurav Gera, and our very own Aijaz Aslam and Sami Khan. Here are some of the photos and details of the event that were worth mentioning;

· Truck-art theme

From the cake to the décor, name one thing that was out of order. The Quraishis arranged a fest in a very desi manner that earned praises online. The birthday bash was covered in truck art style posters featuring traditional designs, florals, quotes and much more.

· Apparel

To add onto the desi theme, both the actor and Farmaan were wearing a matching set of shalwar kameez. Faysal had donned a mesh velour-embossed black kurta paired with matching black shalwar. The father-son duo added the extra spark by wearing traditional mirror-work waist coats, adding more colour to the vibrant event.  

     
· Décor

Covered in vivid colours, the event was all about culture with Qureshi and wife dressed in desi attire as well as the birthday boy. The event featured a rainbow-themed balloon garland and a colourful truck-shaped miniature cake for the little one. Furthermore, the birthday area was filled with faux white roses, fairy lights and a star-shaped lantern to add a dreamy touch.
