Physical classes resume once again

Higher secondary grades attend schools with Covid SOPs

On campus classes resumed across the province for students of Grade IX to XII on Monday after a nearly two-month long suspension due to the second wave of the pandemic.

Most public and private educational institutes resumed physical classes for the higher secondary grades after having relied on online classes while educational institutes were shut.

There was stress on compliance with the coronavirus-mandated standard operating procedures (SOPs) including the use of face masks and social distancing measures.

Attendance remained moderate on the first day and teachers appeared satisfied with the resumption of classes.

As per the decision of the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC), physical classes for the primary grades up till Grade VIII and varsity students are scheduled to resume on February 1 after a review of the situation.
