500 sanitary workers get PPE

MWMC MD says it has been providing masks to all the sanitary staff

MULTAN:

Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) equipped its skeleton staff with necessary healthcare facilities including long rubber gloves, upper jackets and waterproof leader shoes.

MWMC Managing Director Fakharul Islam Dogar said in a statement issued on Wednesday that its 500 strong sanitary squad deputed for cleaning roads and highways across the division were provided 500 upper jackets with long rubber gloves to 2,000 other workers in dire need of them.

He further said it had been providing masks already to all of the sanitary staff especially after emerging Covid-19 pandemic under project of ‘Workers safe, Company safe’.

The MD termed beauty of the city quite due to hard work of its skeleton staff.
