HYDERABAD:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf parliamentary leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh has said the fake bank accounts scam is now taking the lives of innocent people. Speaking to the media in Thatta district on Sunday after offering his condolences to the heirs of school teacher Faheem Ahmed Narejo, he said the deceased had received National Accountability Bureau's notices in the fake accounts case.

Sheikh said that the corruption mafia had deposited Rs360 million in a fake account on his name in a bank in Dadu district. "He died due to this stress." He alleged that under the head of pensions corruption of more than Rs3 trillion has been committed in Sindh.

"Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah deserved some award for this record corruption." He went on to allege that the CM's front men, including Salim Bajari and Murad Dawach, have looted billions of rupees through fake bank accounts.

According to the PTI, the deceased school teacher was not aware that corruption mafia had deposited huge money in his fake bank account. He contended that Narejo's family is innocent and that his party will provide them complete legal help.

He referred to a recent statement of the Sindh education minister in which he had confessed that thousands of government schools in the province are closed. He said the corrupt elements are embezzling billions of rupees in the name of these closed schools.
