Hazara coal miners laid to rest

All the martyrs were buried at the Hazara Town graveyard

Eleven coal miners of the Hazara community, who were brutally killed in the Machh coal field area on January 3, were laid to rest at the Hazara Town graveyard on Saturday.

The funeral prayers were led by Allama Raja Nasir Abbas in Quetta's Hazara Town, attended by thousands of people, including the relatives and friends of thedeceased, locals and residents of the area.

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal, Provincial Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau, Parliamentary Secretary for Urban Planning and Quetta Development Authority Mubeen Khan Khilji, Saleem Ahmed Khosa, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Zulfi Bukhari, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri, Federal Minister Ali Zaidi and MWM leaders also attended the funeral.

Despite the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan requesting that the bodies of three Afghan citizens be transferred back to Kabul through a letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all the martyrs were buried at the Hazara Town graveyard.
