113 houses, 315 tenants searched on Sarwar Road
Separate cases were registered against both the accused
RAWALPINDI:
The police carried out a search operation in the areas around Sarwar Road as part of an on-going security check on Thursday.
According to an official, the operation extended from Sarwar Road to Khajoor Wali Gali and adjoining areas in the jurisdiction of Sadiqabad Police Station. During the operation, a total of 113 houses were checked and 315 people questioned, the spokesperson added.
The official further shared that policewomen were present to enter the houses and living quarters.
A tenant was arrested over violation of renting rules while another accused was apprehended for possessing an illegal 12 bore rifle. Separate cases were registered against both the accused.
