Bhutto remembered on 93rd birth anniversary

The party's workers celebrated Bhutto's birth anniversary with great zeal and enthusiasm in Larkana

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said on Tuesday that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto founded the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to serve the poor of the country.

Paying homage to the party's founder on his 93rd birth anniversary at the Chief Minister's House, said Bhutto's services for the nation would be written in history in golden words.

PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who was the chief guest on the occasion, urged the party leaders, especially ministers, to carry forward the mission of the party's founder and continue to serve the people of the province.

"Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a great leader of the Muslim world and became the voice of oppressed nations. He united Muslim nations in the international arena," said Bilawal.

Meanwhile, PPP leadership and the party's workers celebrated Bhutto's birth anniversary with great zeal and enthusiasm in Larkana.

Score of PPP workers and leaders assembled in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh and paid tribute to Bhutto. They offered Fateha on Bhutto's grave and held a Quran Khawani. Besides, events were organised at the Arts Council and PCB Cricket Ground in Larkana to celebrate Bhutto.
