A virtual education conference titled ‘Virtual Educon’ will be organised by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) on January 12, 2021.
Briefing the journalists about the conference, RCCI President Muhammad Nasir Mirza said that the conference aimed to highlight the challenges in the education sector due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic as well as emerging trends and problems faced by students and teachers alike and their solutions. He added that the chamber has always pushed for the betterment of industry-academy linkages.
The president mentioned that COVID-19 has affected the education sector, but now we have to live with it. Along with implementing all relevant standard operating procedures, new ideas have to be brought in to develop the sector, he maintained, adding that we need tablets, computers and laptops not only for university students, but also for school-going children.
