10 more die of Covid-19 across K-P

PESHAWAR:

Ten more people lost their lives to the deadly Covid-19 in the province within the past 24 hours, pushing the total number of deaths in the province to 1,627.

236 new cases have surfaced in the province whereas 762 patients recovered lately.

As per the Health Department, one patient each in Swabi and Malakand, two in Manshera and three patients in Kohat lost their lives.

88 new cases have been reported from Peshawar, 13 from Nowshera, 21 from Khyber, 24 from Mardan, 17 from Swabi, 15 from Swat, five each from Dir Lower and Dir Upper, seven from Malakand, six from Chitral, two from Bajuar, three from Manshera, one from Hangu, six from Karak, two from Kurram, eight each from Bannu and Orakzai, one from South Waziristan and four from DI Khan.

The main hospital in Peshawar is already feeling the heat of the situation as the Intensive Care Units (ICUs) are running out of beds and there is already a shortage of ventilators and beds with oxygen supply.
