Doctors urged to perform duty with honesty

DHQ management must take action against habitual absent employees and hold them accountable

Parliamentary Secretary for Health Dr Rubaba Khan Baledi has said that it is imperative to perform professional duties with determination and honesty for uninterrupted provision of quality health services.

During a routine hospital visit, she said, "Emergency medical aid and routine treatment should be accessible at Dera Allahyar District Hospital. Extraordinary measures are essential for better services. DHQ management must take action against habitual absent employees and hold them accountable.”

Dr Baledi was accompanied by Director General Health Services Dr Ali Nasir Bugti, Deputy Commissioner Jaffarabad Abdul Razzaq Khajak, Divisional Director Health Services Dr Hamadullah Zehri, DHO Jaffarabad Dr Qudratullah Jamali, Tribal Leader Mir Ataullah Khan Buledi Mir Asadullah Khan Baledi was also present.

The parliamentary secretary for health added that DHQ Dera Allahyar is a central hospital for a large population but this hospital could not even provide the basic medical facilities that should be provided.

She pinned hope on the fact that that the head of DHQ Dera Allahyar was a woman and it is her responsibility to prove that she is a good administrator.

Dr Baledi directed the Director General of Health Services to provide medicines in different districts of Balochistan according to the regional situation and ensure proper use of resources.
