ISLAMABAD:

The apex civic authority of the federal capital on Monday decided to reopen its one-window service for residents of the city.

However, the authority has yet to finalise the days and timings for keeping the service open. An official of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday said that due to the ongoing novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, onewindow department of the authority had been closed for public dealing.

As a result, the public was facing difficulties and delays in transferring their properties. Several complaints were also filed over the closure of the department. Based on the complaints, the authority decided to reopen the facility while following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) as prescribed by the government. It will be mandatory for people coming to the centre to wear masks and gloves while using sanitisers and following the pandemic SOPs. Citizens will be allowed to enter the centre only on the due date and time. The public has been advised not to bring irrelevant people along with them as there will be a complete ban on the entry of other people at the centre.

Further, senior citizens and the specially-abled will be dealt with on priority.
