Mahira Khan tests positive for Covid-19

Actor is currently in isolation

Popular actor Mahira Khan is the latest celebrity to have tested positive for Covid-19.

The Raees star took to social media on Sunday to announce that she has contracted the virus. She went on to reassure everyone that she had informed those who had been in close contact with her.

"I have tested positive for Covid-19. I'm isolating and I have also informed all those who were in close contact with me over the last few days," said Khan in her latest Insta post.

"It's been rough but it will be okay soon. InshaAllah." she continued hopefully. "Please, please wear a mask and follow all other SOPs for your sake and others," urged the Superstar actor.

In the end she wrote, "Prayers and movie recommendations are more than welcome."

Recently, veteran actor Behroze Sabzwari had tested positive for the coronavirus, following which, he recovered while his son Sheroze Sabzwari kept the media and the fraternity informed.

Around the same time, Neelum Muneer, Saheefa Jabbar, Ameer Gillani and Usman Mukhtar among others had tested positive. Some of them recovered and some are still in isolation.

For now, here's hoping Khan, along with everyone still suffering is able to beat the virus soon.
