Three brothers gunned down in Chichawatni

Police say prime suspect is apprehended

CHICHAWATNI:

Fear gripped the village after a young man along with his accomplices killed three brothers in front of their father over a petty dispute on Thursday.

According to the details provided by the police, three brothers namely Haji Nawaz, Mohammad Shahbaz and Mohammad Abbas, residents of suburb village Aqwam Sahu, were returning home after working in the fields when they were shot and killed by the armed men.

The assailants were identified as Usman alias Kaku of the same village along with his two brothers Adnan alias Dana and Arsalan alias Shan.

The attackers armed with pistols intercepted the trio and killed them after hurling slurs at them, sources said.

Reportedly, the deceased Mohammad Abbas had an altercation with Usman on the same day at a petrol pump owned by Farrukh Gujjar which led the accused to murder him along with his siblings.

Police reached the murder scene on information and shifted the corpses to the THQ Hospital Chichawatni for an autopsy.

Police have arrested Usman alias Kaku, the prime accused in the triple murder case, and his father Muhammad Khalid.
