The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Covid-19 Task Force held a meeting at the Corps Headquarters Peshawar on Tuesday, said the military’s media wing.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, K-P Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, Peshawar Corps Commander Lt Gen Nauman Mehmood, senior civil and military officials attended the meeting.
The forum was apprised about the prevailing coronavirus situation in the entire province and the actions being taken to implement the standard operating procedures of Covid-19.
All the steps for implementation of Non-Pharmaceutical Interventions (NPI) in light of the directions given by the National Command Operation Center (NCOC) were also discussed in thorough detail.
Health professionals gave a detailed review pertaining to the current capacity of hospitals for coronavirus patients and the measures that need to be undertaken.
Towards the end of the meeting, the provincial chief executive CM Mahmood expressed satisfaction on the progress made so far to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the province.
