Entertainment Desk December 08, 2020

Hania Aamir has had it with trolls and rightfully so. The Dilruba actor often takes jibes directed towards her in a good spirit. But taking to her Instagram yesterday, she called a spade a spade after shedding two tears over some distasteful comments.

"This was me trying to get myself together after shedding two tears over three mean comments. Words are powerful," she wrote, alongside a picture of herself looking sick and tired. "They can create and destroy. Why use them to knock people down when you can use them to lift each other up?" asked the starlet who has spoken up against social media bullying previously as well.

Addressing how "being mean is easy and weak and projection of your own fears and insecurities," she went on to convey that being kind is beautiful. "It is strength. Let’s be beautiful and strong together. Use your words wisely" concluded the Parwaaz Hai Junoon actor.

Aamir also took to her Insta story to express her disdain, albeit, she did not specify if she was referring to the trolls again. "Sometimes the smallest tasks can become the most difficult and picking yourself up and stepping out to do something for your own happiness becomes burdensome," wrote the actor. "And it's not exactly easy to explain. For those who get it, I have finally stepped out, hope it goes well." she concluded.

Earlier in July, Aamir had spoken up against users tweeting against her when she opened up about not being in a relationship with singer Asim Azhar. "Hania Aamir showing the lowest level of her personality. These kinds of comments don't suit the celebrities like her. I believe this is another cheap publicity stunt," wrote a Twitter user at the time.

The Parwaaz Hai Junoon star hit back saying, "The lowest level of cheap would be not standing up against the evil you see. Violence, abuse, bullying, child marriage, animal abuse, inequality, catcalling, having a public opinion about somebody’s personal life which you know nothing about. But NOT my humour."

In another tweet, a user quoted Azhar's tweet and wrote, "What did you do to provoke him for suicide," with laughing emojis. Aamir responded, "This is not a word to be joked about. You’re not funny. I’m not laughing."
