RMC told to complete schemes
The metropolitan body has been directed to finish schemes allocated by the provincial government.
Commissioner Muhammad Mehmood during a meeting held at RMC head office directed the corporation to complete the schemes under Punjab Municipal Services Programme as per the set targets. RMC Chief Metropolitan Officer Ali Abbas Bukhari and other officers concerned were present in the meeting.
Commissioner said that the Municipal Services Programme includes repair of faulty water pipelines, sewerage pipes, repair of streetlights, sewerage and solid waste related equipment and repairs of lanes in the union councils.
