RAWALPINDI:

Flatbread makers have again called for increasing the price of naan.

However, this time the issue is not the increase in four prices, rather, the tanoor owners are forced to use expensive liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) due to shortage of natural gas.

Central Naanbai Association of Pakistan (CNAP) said that if supply of piped natural gas is not restored, they will increase the prices of naan and pratha in the coming week.

CNAP President Shafiq Qureshi said gas disappears from pipes as soon as winters start and they are forced to use expensive LPG cylinders to serve naans to the people.
