As many as 1,350 development schemes under various programmes are nearing completion in Faisalabad district with a cost of Rs71,716 million, official source said.
“At least 84% development work has been completed against an allocation of 26,816 million rupees so far,” Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali said during a meeting during which the implementation progress of different programmes was under scrutiny.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance Afifa Shajia, Deputy Director Development Tahir Mahmood, PHA, WASA, FDA, Colleges, Sui Northern Gas Company Limited, health department, local government, public health engineering officers were present during the meeting.
