LAHORE:

A legal battle has erupted among the family members of a spiritual leader over the shifting of his grave, apparently to get administrative control over the tomb that has yet to be constructed.

Two sons of the deceased had shifted the grave from a compound at the family residence to land purchased for building the tomb, at which the rest of their breather’s challenged the act before a magistrate, complaining that they had not been consulted.

The magistrate dismissed the plea of the petitioners.

However, the respondents also approached Lahore High Court through Advocate Syed Amjad Iqbal Hussain with the plea that the magisterial court had no jurisdiction to entertain the plea.
