The guardian court has issued a ruling on the child custody case between singer Sanam Marvi and her ex-husband Hamid Ali Khan, reported Express-News. Judge Yaqub issued a schedule for shared custody of the children.

According to the schedule issued by the court, the children will stay with the mother for four days a week and the father for three days a week. When the mother is abroad, the children will be the responsibility of the ex-husband.

Despite the court's decision, Marvi had pleaded for primary custody of the children. She claimed that her ex-husband was forcibly keeping the children. The singer asserted that she could not live without her children.

Marvi and Ali officially parted ways back in February this year. The singer had claimed that she had to endure physical abuse at the hands of Ali during the course of their marriage.

Earlier this month, Marvi had to go to the hospital after suffering an anxiety attack. In a subsequent tweet, the singer claimed that her eldest son was being stopped from attending school and was forced to sing. “A few days ago, it was my children Mustafa Ali and Ward Ali’s birthdays while they were away from me”, said the singer. “What’s even worse is that the schools are open, but my eldest son Behlool Ali has been barred from attending school and is forced to sing”. She said that the situation is painful.
