OPPO INNO DAY 2020 themed “Leap into the Future” was held in Shenzhen where the company showcased three concept products; “Technology for Mankind, “Kindness for the World”, “Virtuous innovation”, and also revealed for the first time the “3+N+X” technology development strategy.
The company explained the 3+ N+ X technology development strategies for OPPO’s long-term development.
Three countries that spend the most on research and development
The 3” refers to the three underlying technologies, hardware, software, and services technologies, which will help bring smart life to users globally.
“N”, signifies a number of OPPO's essential capabilities, including AI, security and privacy, multimedia, and interconnectivity while the “X” refers to future strategic resources such as the flash charge technology that nurtures innovation and provides a better user experience.

“It’s important to build technical capabilities, but it’s even more important to innovatively integrate them. OPPO believes we should bring the benefits to users, and leave all the complexity to us,” said Levin Liu, OPPO Vice President and Head of OPPO Research Institute, in his keynote speech.
Further, the smartphone giant also unveiled a new set of accessories such as the OPPO X 2021 rollable concept handset, OPPO AR Glass 2021 which features diverse sensors, including a stereo fisheye camera, and OPPO CybeReal AR application.
At the event, Chen stressed the importance of creating a world of kindness through virtuous innovation, and going forward OPPO will continue to collaborate with partners to bring humane technology.
