KARACHI:

Uzair Jaswal, the youngest of the Jaswal brothers, has been on his own journey - one without the shadow or influence of his family. The 28-year-old is known for his soulful tracks and melodious voice. He has, however, been trying his hand at acting as well.

But music will always be his grounding force.

The singer is back to the scene with his latest single, Yaadaan. The romantic track features Minal Khan in the video that has been directed by Adnan Aslam and Umair Mushtaq. Yaadaan, he says, is very personal to him. "The thing about my music is that it all comes from a very personal space," the Tere Bin crooner told The Express Tribune. "Yaadaan isn't any different."

Uzair shares how the audience would very well relate to his latest song as it reminisces of old love and regrets. "It's bittersweet, really. Yaadaan will make you recall the good and the bad times with the love of your life; someone you hold dear. It's a journey - one that wasn't completed due to some reasons. The song will take you down a memory lane and that is exactly what I want the audience to feel," he shared.

The three-minute-long song sees Minal and Uzair in an ideal relationship that goes astray. The beautiful cinematography and stunning locales only add more aesthetic to the video. The very obvious chemistry between the onscreen couple only makes us want to see them sharing more screen space.
