Former president and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari moved another petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday, seeking exemption from hearing in his bail plea against a case pertaining to alleged transaction of Rs8 billion.

A division bench of the IHC would take up his petition for hearing on Tuesday (today) in the graft case filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The petition stated that the former president was discharged from a Karachi hospital on October 11, but later was admitted again on November 22, due to his deteriorating health.

The petition prayed the court to grant exemption from hearing in his bail plea. The petitioner has also attached his fresh medical reports with his case.
