Kalash graveyard to get boundary wall

The provincial government has started building a boundary wall around a centuries-old graveyard in the scenic Kalash Valley. Once complete, no one will be allowed to enter the cemetery without permission.

The K-P Archaeological Department has also set up gates at the entry and exit points of the graveyard. Archaeology and Museum Directorate Chief Dr Abdul Samad said that they have started the preservation and restoration of ancient Hindu temples in the Kalash Valley.

He added that the Special Assistant to CM Wazir Zada provided funds to the department for completing the Rs600 million project.
