Minority students get Rs2.6m scholarships

CM had allocated funds for providing scholarships to talented students

FAISALABAD:

Scholarships for education amounting to Rs2.6 million have been given to 85 students belonging to minority communities of Faisalabad division after the approval of the Punjab chief minister. Punjab Minister for Minorities Affairs & Human Rights (HR&MA) Ejaz Aalam Augustine distributed the cheques during a ceremony held at Circuit House on Saturday.

The minister said the CM had allocated funds for providing scholarships to talented students. He said PM Imran Khan and the CM were encouraging talented students so that they could receive good education and play a dynamic role for national development.
