The Counter Terrorism Department claimed to have arrested an alleged target killer belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L) on Wednesday, confiscation weapons from his possession.

A raid was carried out by the CTD Operation II police in Korangi Sector 5D, during which Muhiuddin Naveed alias Master was arrested.

According to CTD officials, Naveed had attacked Rangers personnel at Bilal Mosque in Korangi along with his accomplices, Usama and Shafiq alias Kala, in 2018. Two Rangers officials had been killed in the attack. They further said Naveed had been involved in several other criminal activities and had been arrested multiple times.

Besides, they added, he had confessed to his involvement in murders, vandalism and extortion. The police launched investigations after registering cases against Naveed.
