‘Pakistan heading towards stability’

Hamayun Iqbal Shami says incumbent government is taking corrective measures to attract international investors

Despite the challenges, Pakistan is heading towards economic stability, said Pakistan Economic Forum Chairman Hamayun Iqbal Shami. “The incumbent government is taking corrective measures to attract international investors,” Shami told Radio Pakistan. “There is stability and growth in the economic situation of the country.” According to him, it was high time to improve ease of doing business and attract investors. Consistent policies are imperative to improve the economy, he stressed. The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a blessing for Pakistan’s economy and the power crisis in Pakistan is resolved due to CPEC-related projects, he added.
