The body of a septuagenarian man was found in a workshop in Baloch Colony on Monday.
The deceased, identified as Zulfiqar Ali, 72, was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.
According to the police, the employees of the Alrehman Engineering Works in Mazoor Colony left the workshop on Saturday evening and returned on Monday morning to find the doors bolted from within.
An employee managed to scale the wall and found the body of the deceased, who was the watchman at the workshop and resided there as well.
The police believe that Ali died of natural causes and said that the heirs have taken the body for burial in Faisalabad.
Meanwhile, the body of a man with a noose around his neck was found from a house in katchi abadi in North Karachi on Monday.
The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The Sir Syed police station duty officer, sub-inspector Iqbal, said the man appeared to have died as a result of suicide. He added that the initial investigations suggested that the man had taken the step following a domestic dispute and financial crisis.
However, the police are further investigating the case.
