Army Heritage Foundation (AHF) Director-General Brigadier (retd) Asif Akhtar urged the youth to get rid of excessive use of electronic gadgets and instead come to grounds and parks for physical activities. He said they had restored sports grounds and there were no security issues too.
DG told that AHF would soon lay modern Astroturf in the hockey ground of Ayub Park. This modern surface is only present in six different locations in the world including two in Pakistan.
Ayub Park Cricket Stadium will soon host under-19 cricket matches for which arrangements have been completed, Akhtar told.
