ISLAMABAD:

To spread awareness about breast cancer, the Shifa Foundation organised a closing ceremony of its month-long breast cancer awareness campaign at the Giga Mall on Sunday.

The foundation carried out various campaigns throughout October to spread awareness on how to avert and treat breast cancer. The concluding campaign reiterated that breast cancer is a fatal disease and encouraged women to talk about it openly. The foundation gave out discount coupons on mammography to attendees.

Many women participated in the campaign by registering for checkups and donating generously for the cause. They promoted the campaign on their social media platforms and took part in games set up at the stall to win exciting prizes. The foundation thanked Shifa International Hospital and other sponsors for their help in making the campaign a success.
