IG FC announces opening Mand Border for locals

The Inspector General of Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Sarfraz Ali announced to open the Mand Border in the best interest of the local people. He visited the Mand area of Kech and chaired a jirga on regional issues.

The IG FC said that they are well aware of the problems in the area and will play their role in resolving these issues.

Resolving the issue of border closure, Maj Gen Ali announced the opening of a separate gate for the people of Mand and Tump as well as the opening of the Spin Kahai submarine route. He also assured the elders of their responsibility for peace and order.

The IG FC also informed the people of the area that any kind of prohibited items would be confiscated. Due to shortage of teachers in government run high schools, the FC chief directed to recruit a teacher for the school from Headquarters FC.

He also visited the football ground prepared by the FC wing for the public. Towards the end of the jirga, the IG FC paid homage to political and social figure Fida Hakeem Rind.

According to sources, an important milestone was reached in improving the public issues and law and order situation through the jirga.

MPA Lala Rashid Dashti, Madam Rahima Jalal Rind, Brigadier Naveed Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner Kech Muhammad Ilyas Kibzai, Tehsildar Tump Abid Ali, Tehsildar Mand Rafiq Ahmed, local political and dignitaries Haji Barkat Rind, Haji Bashir Ahmed, Haji Kiazai Haji Pazir, Din Mohammad Mahim, Major Bahram, Haji Ghaffar Rasool Bakhsh and others attended.
