Four patients including two elderly men lost their battle against coronavirus at Nishtar Hospital within the last 24 hours bringing the tally to 190 since March this year.
Nishtar Hospital Focal Person for Infectious Diseases Dr Irfan Arshad said that Haider Abbas (72) Ghulam Abbas (57) Humayun Iqbal (36) and Muhammad Imran (35) passed away in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
Haider and Humayun hailed from Multan whereas Ghulam Abbas belonged to Layyah and Muhammad Imran belonged to Shujabadad, he added.
“Currently seventy-four patients are covid-19 positive and 30 are virus suspects out of the total 128 cases, Dr Irfan Arshad concluded.
