#Dhandli: Pakistani Twitter has a field day after Trump rigging claims

Claims of rigging surfacing after Pakistani elections is commonplace and when President Donald Trump alleged that electoral fraud had infected the electoral process in the US, social media users in Pakistan could not resist from drawing parallels between the two countries.

As the entire world's eyes were on who would come out on top in the hotly debated and intensely contested US election between Trump and democratic party's Joe Biden, Trump came out claiming he was robbed of victory and would take his case to the Supreme Court for justice.

One Twitter user, appealed to his fellow Twitter user to get #Dhandli trending.

Another user also crytically commented on the US president's post, saying,"Hmmm...dhandli".

While Zohaib found similarities to how Trump had already claimed victory before the final result to three-time premier Nawaz Sharif's victory speech before confirmation in the 2013 election in Pakistan.

Jeremy McLellan, a comedian who loves everything Pakistani, cast doubt over how real change would take place if Biden is elected to the Oval Office with the Republicans still controlling the Senate,"Nothing will get done except Biden's terrible foreign policy".

Memes of a photoshopped Trump Twitter handle soon went viral on social media in which he adopted the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz slogan of "Vote ko Izzat Do".
