On Friday the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal, Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was observed all across Pakistan. Many local public figures wished their fans well as they celebrated the occasion. Singer Asim Azhar on the blessed day posted a video of himself reciting some verses of Qaseeda Burda Sharif.

The video since it was uploaded has crossed 200,000 views on Instagram. The artist's comment section was soon flooded, with even actor Humaima Malick taking the oppurtunity to praise the artist. "Mashallah, SubhanAllah," she wrote.

Earlier this week, Azhar celebrated his 24th birthday with close friends and family. "Alhamdulillah. Thank you to each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. I love you guys," the singer wrote in an an Instagram post.
