Bodies of two brothers were found dumped at a desolate place close to Khakri Village of Gujjar Khan in the jurisdiction of Mandra police station on Saturday.
Family sources said that 21-year-old Muhammad Ali Shan and 24-year-old Muhammad Nabeel had left home Friday evening saying they were going with friends.
Later, bodies of the two young men were found lying in open in a field with their hands tied behind the back. Both had multiple gunshot wounds, police and Rescue 1122 officials said.
Gujjar Khan Circle SP Hina Naik Bakht, SHO Mandira Yasir Abbasi, SI Jamal along with police personnel reached the spot and took the bodies in their possession and shifted them to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Gujjar Khan for autopsy.
Police forensic teams also reached the spot and collected evidence. The father of the victims, Raja Waheed in a report lodged with the police, said that Sohail, a resident of Bajal and Ghulam Abbas, a resident of Mandira, called my sons Ali Shaan and Nabil from their house and they all went for an outing. However, Shaan and Nabil were found dead, Waheed said. Mandira police have registered a case and started investigation while the bodies were handed over to heirs after legal formalities.
