ISLAMABAD:

With less than a month left for the new entry test for medical and dental colleges in the country, students are concerns over the issuance of a new syllabus.

Earlier in the month, the newly formed Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC)had announced that a new MDCAT will be held on November 15.

In its October 5 notification, the PMC announced that the entry test will be conducted by NUMS. It advised students to focus on preparing for the test from the material provided by the university. Later, in another notification on October 7, the commission reassured students that no topic will be included which was not covered at the provincial levels.

However, the latest syllabus issued for the entry test is based on the federal science syllabus. This has worreid amongst students who studied as per the syllabus of their respective provincial boards.
