The Pakistan Army in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) killed two terrorists in Mir Ali, an area of North Waziristan district in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).

“Security forces conducted IBO in Mir Ali, NWD. Two terrorists belonging to Aleem Khan Khushhali Group were killed,” a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.

The military’s media wing also said that the terrorists were involved in killing of Malik Raees, resident of Mir Ali, who was shot dead on October 18.

“These terrorists were also involved in many terrorist activities and wanted by police,” it added.

Earlier this month, the Pakistan Army killed two “hardcore” terrorists and arrested one in an IBO in the same town of tribal district of K-P.

"Security forces conducted an IBO in Mir Ali, North Waziristan. Two hardcore terrorists [were] killed, [while] one terrorist was apprehended,” the ISPR had said.
