Police carrying out raids to trace the victims

Six cases of abduction of women were registered in different police stations on Sunday.

After registering the cases, the police started raids to apprehend the abductors and rescue the victims.

According to a police report, a 19-year-old woman was going to buy milk when accused Musaddiq Bashir, Shehryar and their two accomplices abducted her.

Another 20-year-old woman, resident of Sadhupura area of Ghulam Muhammadabad, was abducted from a market where she had gone to buy grocery.

Moreover, a woman was abducted from People’s Colony No1 while she was on her way to work.

In Milna Town on Sargodha Road, another 19-year-old woman was abducted by alleged accused Jawad and four others while a resident of Jilani Park was allegedly abducted by Shabbir and three others when she was on her way to a hospital.

A resident of Satiana Road, Chak No 232 was also abducted allegedly by the accused Bhaga and two others and taken to an unidentified location, a complainant told the local police.

Police registered cases against the accused and started searching for them.
