The new voters’ list identifies an increase of over 166,634 voters in the district

RAWALPINDI:

Over 150,000 voters have been registered to vote in Rawalpindi per the upgraded voters’ list issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). Women surpass men as newly registered voters. However, the overall count of women voters still falls short of men in the district. The new voters’ list identifies an increase of over 166,634 voters in the district. Now, there are 3.188 million registered voters in Rawalpindi. In 2018, the number of male voters in the district was 1.644 million and 1.477 million were women.
