Police claimed to have solved a murder case and arrested an accused on Sunday on charges of killing his father over a minor domestic dispute.
According to police spokesman Ghulam Muhammad, a resident of Sanawan was shot dead last month.
Police registered the case and started investigations on the complaint of the victim’s son Mujahid Hussain who alleged that his father was killed by his in-laws who lived in Jhang.
A special team was formed under the supervision of SHO Sanawan Asmat Abbas to solve the murder case. Police after investigations using the latest techniques, arrested the complainant Hussain in suspicion of killing his father. The man confessed during interrogation that he had a dispute with his father over some domestic issues.
