LAHORE:

Lahore Arts Council (LAC) organised an exhibition in collaboration with The Little Art and Punjab Institute of Mental Health (PIMH) to mark World Mental Health Day on Saturday.

The jointly-held ceremony was based on the works of children's art from all over Pakistan where Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid was the chief guest.

The minister appreciated the efforts of the LAC and said that Alhamra was playing a vital role for people's mental wellbeing. “Art helps in mental therapy, reduces anxiety, stress and contributes to an improvement in self-esteem.”
