After the glorifying success of Churails, ZEE5 global launches the trailer of Zindagi’s next original Ek Jhoothi Love Story, according to a press release. The trailer depicts the story of two people Salma and Sohail from middle-class families, on their journey of finding ideal partners.
Written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Mehreen Jabbar, Ek Jhoothi Love Story boasts a stellar cast with Bilal Abbas Khan and Madiha Imam in the lead, along with popular artists like Kiran Haq, Hina Bayaat, Mariam Saleem, Beo Raana Zafar, Mohammed Ahmed and Fawad Khan.
Talking about her upcoming series Imam says, “Ek Jhoothi Love Story is not just a love story. The show depicts different kinds of love, and the various forms it can take. We have put our hearts and souls in the show, and I am waiting to see the audience’s reaction to the trailer.”
Echoing the same sentiments, Khan said that the series is about balancing expectations and reality. “Ek Jhoothi Love Story is a beautiful story of every family. It is a story of struggles between our expectations and reality. A story of what you want and what you need," he said.
