The federal government and other provinces could benefit from Sindh's experience in the field of information technology (IT) so that the country could flourish, said Sindh IT Minister Taimoor Talpur.
Talking to participants of a meeting chaired by Federal IT Minister Aminul Haque on Wednesday, Talpur stated that many advances had been made in Sindh's IT sector as he pointed to the digitalisation of police stations, hospitals and several other institutions.
He further highlighted the need for greater inter-provincial coordination.
"The Sindh government had suggested a few months ago that the federal government should work on increasing coordination between the provinces regarding the IT instead of investing huge sums of money on purchasing or creating new software so that the provinces could benefit from each other's resources," he maintained.
He added that the Sindh government was ready to share the software it had prepared with the other provinces.
