Two fire tenders were initially dispatched to the site

A fire broke out at the warehouse of a garment factory in Shershah on Tuesday, leaving two workers with minor injuries. Two fire tenders were initially dispatched to the site, but due to the intensity of the blaze, eight more fire tenders were subsequently summoned as well. Water tankers were also sought from the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board, along with fire tenders from the Karachi Port Trust. Police and Rangers cordoned off the area, while all employees were safely evacuated from the factory’s first floor and the blaze brought under control. According to the police, the cause of the fire could not immediately be ascertained.
