Police have registered a case against a man on charges of raping his sister-in-law, who is a student.

According to the police report, Kazim Abbas, son of Muhammad Shafiq, a resident of Nemat Colony, lodged a case in Madina Town police station, alleging that when his 19-year-old sister came out from her higher secondary school, his brother-in-law Matiur Rehman, son of Yaseen, a resident of Chak 443GB, was waiting outside on a motorcycle. The complainant said the suspect told the girl that her aunt had sent him and took her to Gutwala Park, where he forcibly took her to a washroom and raped her.

Later, the accused left the girl at Khurram Chowk and fled. Police registered a case against the accused and carried out raids to arrest him. SHO Rai Aftab Wasim said the accused is a student of a seminary. The alleged victim’s elder sister was married to the accused eight months ago.

In another case, Almas Bibi, a resident of Humayun Town complained that her 12-year-old son was playing outside when the accused Owais and others took him to a building, where they molested him.
